WALKS DURING HUNTING SEASON
Want to go for a walk in the forest? It's possible even in autumn.
However, from October to the end of December, hunting is organized in our forests.
Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information or to visit the website www.partageonslaforet.be . This application allows you to locate hunting grounds that have obtained authorization to close forest paths on days when hunting activities are organized and to locate marked paths that are not accessible.
These guidelines apply to public forests. A private forest is private property. Its owner is free to decide. These private woods and forests are crossed by public roads or right-of-way easements, access to which must remain unrestricted. In this case, restrictions for hunting purposes must also be clearly indicated.
You can also obtain the hunting calendar by contacting the Tourist Office.
If you see a yellow poster, they are there to inform you of upcoming hunts. Red posters are prohibitions. They warn of the organization of a hunt.
